With around a decade’s experience, she has served several clients throughout the Oakland metro and surrounding areas of Contra Costa County and Alameda County.

Ms. Dodson graduated cum laude with a B.A. in history from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.P.A. from Evans School of Public Policy & Governance at the University of Washington. She attended law school at the University of Washington School of Law. As a law student, she served as an extern for the Hon. Justice Owens and the Hon. Judge Barreca. Furthermore, she represented economically disadvantaged individuals dealing with ongoing disputes with the IRS through the Federal Tax Clinic.

While in law school, Ms. Dodson served as the managing editor of the Washington Journal of Environmental Law & Policy. During her tenure as a chair of the art in the law school committee, she played a crucial role in getting artwork into the school’s common areas. Over the course of her career, she worked for various law firms and gained considerable experience.

Ms. Dodson is an active member of The State Bar of California’s Trusts and Estates Section, the East Bay Tax Club, the Women Lawyers of Alameda County, the East Bay Estate Planning Council and the AIDS Legal Referral Panel.
