Attorney Dorie A. Rogers is the founder and owner of The Law Offices of Dorie A. Rogers, APC, in Orange, California. A top-ranked and award-winning lawyer with 40 years of legal experience, Ms. Rogers focuses her practice primarily on family law, and she provides unmatched counsel and support to clients throughout Orange County and the surrounding areas who are going through a divorce or have some other serious legal issue affecting their families.
The daughter of divorced parents herself, Ms. Rogers fully understands the emotional impact divorce can have on all members of the family, and prior to becoming a lawyer, she worked in an acute psychiatric hospital, where she helped a variety of adolescent and adult clients in a therapeutic setting. As such, she is able to better address the mental and emotional affects of her clients' divorces on themselves and their children, and she has gained a reputation for her compassion and empathy.
Through her practice, she has achieved remarkable success helping her clients through some of the most difficult and uncertain times in their lives with the utmost dignity and respect, and she has obtained a long record of helping her clients achieve their goals and the favorable outcomes they seek both efficiently and cost-effectively.
Ms. Rogers earned associates degrees in liberal arts and mental health technology from Daytona Beach State College in 1974. She then received her Bachelor of Science from Western State University in 1977. Following that, she attended Western State University College of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 1980. The State Bar of California admitted her to practice the following year, and she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.
Ms. Rogers is a member of the Banyard Inn of the Court, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the National Association of Counsel for Children. She also serves as convention delegate to the State Bar of California, and she is a member of the board of directors of the Rape Crisis Hotline. She also serves on the steering committee of the Governor’s Conference of Women and the Heart and Sole Committee of the American Heart Association.
