Attorney Lisa R. McCall is the founder of the Law Offices of Lisa R. McCall in Santa Ana, California. Board certified as a dual appellate law and family law specialist by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and possessing more than 17 years of legal experience, Ms. McCall devotes her practice exclusively to family law, focused primarily on appeals and writs.
A 2004 magna cum laude graduate of California State University, Long Beach, Ms. McCall attended Whittier Law School, where she obtained her Juris Doctor cum laude in 2006. While in law school, she was heavily involved with the Whittier Law School Journal of Child and Family Advocacy, and she served as a teaching assistant as well as an active member of the Public Interest Law Foundation. During this time, she also received her certification as a mediator for the Superior Court of Orange County.
The State Bar of California admitted her to practice in 2007, and Ms. McCall is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition, Ms. McCall has completed the intensive family law trial training program sponsored by the Houston Family Law Trial Institute as well as the Orange County Bar Association College of Trial Advocacy.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Orange County Bar Association, the family law section of the California Lawyers Association, the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. She currently serves on the Amicus Committee of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists and on the Executive Committee of the Orange County Bar Association family law section. She previously served as chair of the family law section and chair of the appellate section of the Orange County Bar Association, assistant chair of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists State Board, and as secretary of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists Orange County Chapter. She also co-taught a course on appellate advocacy as an adjunct law professor at Whittier Law School. Devoted to helping those less fortunate in her community, she has volunteered her time and services with the Public Law Center and the Constitutional Rights Foundation of Orange County, as well as the moot court competitions at CSU, Long Beach.
