Megan Guzman has made impressive inroads within her legal community in a relatively short span of time through her efficacious practice, emphasizing a tenacious work ethic and meticulous attention to detail on all aspects of her clients’ cases. At the Law Office of Megan Guzman in Orange, California, she serves residents throughout Orange County in complex immigration law issues, including naturalization, family petitions, and E-2, L-1, TN, F, R and B visas, among many others. She also handles immigration litigation in federal court, and is admitted to practice before the Central, Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of California, the D.C. District Court, and Ninth Circuit.
Making her first foray into law through her enrollment at the Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, Ms. Guzman’s academic and legal prowess were evident early on. She served in the Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic, the Public Interest Law Foundation and the International and Comparative Law Review – the latter of which she was a Editor in Chief at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights Project. She received her Juris Doctor in 2017, and in the same year, she obtained her license to practice law in California.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Guzman completed her undergraduate studies in 2014, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and political science from the University of California – Los Angeles.
Outside her practice, Ms. Guzman remains actively involved in prominent legal organizations to further progress the standard of client care in her industry to even greater heights. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (Chair for the Southern California Chapter), the Orange County Bar Association (Immigration Law Section) and the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Immigration Law Section). Furthermore, she has conducted seminars across various platforms on topics related to her field of practice, and for her many contributions, she has been included in the Top 5 Litigation Attorneys list by EB5 Investors Magazine.
