Mr. Ofseyer graduated with his B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina in 1986, and received his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, in 1990. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy, with a concentration in Ethics, from New York University (1993), and Ph.D. in Philosophy, with a concentration in Ethics, from the University of North Carolina (1999).
First obtaining his license to practice law in New York in 1992, Mr. Ofseyer became licensed to practice law in California in 2005. He stays actively involved within his legal community to promote his client-centric ideals, including in legal organizations such as The State Bar of California (Trusts and Estates Section) and the Desert Bar Association. He has taught Ethics at Harvard, N.Y.U., U.N.C., and U.C.L.A., taught Wills & Trusts and Estate Planning as an adjunct professor at the University of La Verne College of Law, and regularly presents continuing legal education classes on Trusts & Estates topics for other lawyers.
