Amy L. Sulahian is the principal attorney of Sulahian Law, a boutique firm based in Pasadena, California, where her practice centers on business law, tax law and litigation. On the business side, she guides clients through entity formation and restructuring, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, and dissolutions. Her litigation work spans business disputes, breach of contract matters, collections, intellectual property infringement, real estate conflicts and defense under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
In tax law, Ms. Sulahian handles sophisticated planning and dispute resolution, personal and business tax return preparation, back tax liabilities, and representation before auditors and investigators, while also advising businesses on the tax implications of structuring and transactions. Her client base ranges from local business owners to corporations and individuals.
A California native, Ms. Sulahian built her academic foundation at California State University, Los Angeles, earning a Bachelor of Science in business and accounting before pursuing her Juris Doctor at Glendale University College of Law. She is licensed to practice in both California and Texas. Her professional path began in 1995, when an early role at a real estate startup quickly evolved into a CFO and controller position.
Following the 2007 real estate downturn, Ms. Sulahian shifted her focus to an accounting and tax practice she had already founded, which grew a reputation for forensic accounting expertise. In 2012, she stepped into a controller role for a national franchise, helping overhaul its internal accounting infrastructure. These experiences culminated in the 2017 launch of Sulahian Law, and in April 2025, her practice extended into Texas.
Beyond her legal work, Ms. Sulahian is a founding member of the LEO Project, supporting fallen and injured law enforcement officers and their families. She has been honored by the Lawyers of Distinction, was named to the Pasadena Weekly “Best of” Readers' Choice list for law firm and received the Pasadena Weekly “Best of” distinction for best accountant. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and is a member of The State Bar of California.
