Edward A. Terzian

Edward A. Terzian is the founder of The Inheritance Recovery Attorneys, LLP, a contingency-fee based firm located in La Canada Flintridge, CA, which serves clients throughout the state. With more than 15 years of experience practicing law, he focuses his practice on probate, estate and trust litigation, including matters involving will and trust contests, trustee/administrator removal, inheritance interference and so on.

Diligent, proactive and passionate about helping those who need it the most, Mr. Terzian fights aggressively for his clients. He strives to ensure his clients get the justice they deserve. Based on personal experience, Mr. Terzian has unique insight into the emotional and psychological impact associated with family disputes. It is his empathetic approach, combined with his aggressive and zealous practice style that allows him to successfully advocate for his clients. 

A member of the Golden Key Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Mr. Terzian obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude in mass communication and economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Loyola Law School and received high honors in many courses, including Evidence & Torts. He was a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society and graduated with dean’s list honors.

Mr. Terzian has memberships in the Pasadena Bar Association, the Armenian Bar Association and The State Bar of California. Before starting The Inheritance Recovery Attorneys LLP, he founded Terzian Law Partners, APC, with his wife, who is also a renowned estate planning attorney. He was the head of the Trust and Estate Litigation Department here and took on cases involving real estate and business matters.

Recognized for the exceptional legal work he does helping individuals who have wrongfully been disinherited, Mr. Terzian has received numerous accolades and awards. Pasadena Magazine named him to its list of Top Attorneys since the year 2014, and he has an “Excellent” rating on Avvo. In addition to his law practice, he enjoys spending time with his family and boxing.
