Lisa Tan

Lisa Tan is an estate, probate and trust litigation attorney at Trust Law Partners LLP in Pasadena, California. As a partner of the firm, Ms. Tan represents clients in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California, as well as on a statewide basis when necessary. In addition to estate and trust law, her past legal experience includes complex business and civil litigation.

Ms. Tan is a seasoned litigator experienced with alternative dispute resolution methods such as arbitration and mediation. In her current practice, she handles claims involving breach of fiduciary duty, contested heirships, contested powers of attorney, estate management issues, fraudulent transfers, partitions, probate litigation and trust and will validity.

Earlier in her legal career and prior to joining Trust Law Partners LLP, Ms. Tan practiced at two other private law firms. She represented California individuals and business in complex domestic and international business disputes.

A respected and esteemed attorney within her legal community, Pasadena magazine included Ms. Tan on their “Top Lawyers” list. Outside of her law practice, she stays involved in the legal community. She is an active member of the State Bar of California and an ambassador of the Pasadena Bar Association.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in international relations at the University of Southern California, Ms. Tan went on to earn her law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law. She holds licenses to practice law before all California state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
