Elisabeth A. Lord

Elisabeth A. Lord is an attorney at Lord & Brooker APC, which has branches across California. She concentrates her practice on family law and serves clients throughout San Bernardino and Riverside counties in California. It has been more than 22 years since she began practicing law in California.

Before joining Lord & Brooker APC, Ms. Lord worked for various private firms and at the Santa Cruz County Office of the Public Defender, where she represented conflict cases on behalf of parents in matters involving child protective services. She then spent several years running her own private law practice, earning a reputation as a skilled attorney in the areas of criminal, family and juvenile law.

Licensed to practice in California since 1999, Ms. Lord handles a wide variety of matters involving divorce, alimony, child custody, child support, conservatorships, domestic partnership dissolution, division of property, domestic violence, estate planning, guardianships, post-decree modifications, probate, trusts, wills and such. She is certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization as a family law specialist and has received a 10/10 rating on Avvo.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in language and linguistics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Ms. Lord attained her law degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law. She gained valuable legal experience during law school by serving as a certified law student representing criminal defendants and working with a local family law clinic. She also participated in moot court and won the American Jurisprudence Award (Contracts).

Active in her legal community, Ms. Lord was the past director of the Riverside County Bar Association, and has affiliations with several prominent legal associations such as the:
