Mike Danko

A trial attorney and partner at Danko Meredith, Trial Lawyers, based in Redwood City, California, Mike Danko focuses on representing individuals in complex and high-stakes personal injury litigation. Mr. Danko earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College in 1980. Later, he went on to attend the University of Virginia School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1983. That same year, he was admitted to practice law in California, followed by admission in Washington in 1984.

With decades of legal experience, Mr. Danko has secured more than $1 billion in settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients. His notable results include a $51 million settlement for a victim of a small plane crash and a $14.9 million jury verdict against an engine manufacturer for injuries sustained by a passenger in the crash landing of a single-engine aircraft. His work reflects a commitment to achieving meaningful outcomes for individuals facing life-altering injuries.

Mr. Danko is an active member of several professional organizations, including the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association and the Consumer Attorneys of California.

Mr. Danko also maintains membership in the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association. From 2004 to 2012, he served on the Board of Governors for the Consumer Attorneys of California, contributing to the advancement of advocacy for injured consumers.
