Peter M. Gimbel

Peter M. Gimbel is a workers’ compensation attorney based in Redwood City, California. The founder of the Gimbel Law Firm, he serves clients in Redwood City and throughout the San Francisco and San Jose areas.

Mr. Gimbel provides committed and dedicated representation to each client he serves. He fights hard to protect the rights of injured workers, tirelessly advocating for their right to compensation after a workplace injury. He is a strong negotiator and always ready to take a case to trial when it is in the best interests of his clients.

Before focusing his practice on workers’ compensation law, Mr. Gimbel worked in criminal defense. He developed his litigation knowledge and experience by taking cases at the state and federal levels throughout Northern California. He also practiced personal injury and workers’ compensation law at a Burlingame, California, law firm. While in that role, he received a “Top 10 Attorneys Award” from the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys.

In 2016, Mr. Gimbel founded his own law firm and chose to concentrate his practice exclusively on workers’ compensation law. Since opening his firm, he has successfully handled numerous cases in workers’ compensation hearings. He is a respected and valuable contributor to his legal community and a member of the San Mateo County Bar Association and the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association.

After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Mr. Gimbel earned his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. He holds a license to practice law before all California state courts.
