Jason R. Sherlock

Jason R. Sherlock is a board-certified family law specialist accredited by The State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. As a co-founder of Sherlock // Anderson, PC, he not only plays a pivotal role as a shareholder but also manages financial strategies as the chief financial officer. His office is conveniently placed in Roseville, California, to serve the local community efficiently.

Mr. Sherlock’s legal practice is primarily concentrated in Placer and Sacramento counties, focusing as an expert in family law, although his firm also handles cases in several neighboring counties. His areas of practice cover a broad spectrum, including dissolution of marriage and domestic partnerships, custody disputes, support, property division, business valuation, pre and post marital agreements, cooperative settlements and mediation as well as heavily contested litigation.

After completing his Bachelor of Science in criminal justice with a prelaw emphasis at California State University, Sacramento, in 2005, Mr. Sherlock pursued legal studies at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2007. During his time in law school, he was recognized for his contributions to public service in the San Diego area. His early legal career was marked by significant exposure to courtroom litigation and alternative dispute resolution in Southern California.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Sherlock holds a membership with the California State Bar Family Law Division, Placer County Bar Association, Sacramento County Bar Association, Association of Certified Family Law Specialists (ACFLS) and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).  His commitment to legal education and community service is evident from his lectures on juvenile dependency, human trafficking and child custody, and his active participation with organizations like the Court Appointed Special Advocates Sacramento and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Fresno.

Mr. Sherlock’s dedication to his field is further demonstrated by his recognition as lead counsel since 2015, along with a Client’s Choice Award in 2014 and a “Superb” rating on Avvo. His commitment extends beyond professional achievements, focusing on educating the community and fostering a practice that upholds the highest standards of family law.
