Stephen Michael Fatula

An attorney with McCoy Fatula, APC, Stephen Michael Fatula focuses his practice on family law, estate planning and business law. With a sense of civic responsibility, Mr. Fatula enrolled at Wesley College to pursue his bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and graduated magna cum laude with minors in chemistry and biology. Upon graduation, he began working for a private company and went on to attend Rutgers University School of Law. Understanding that law school would provide a direct avenue to helping others, he leveraged this education into a dual master’s in business administration degree from Rutgers School of Business.

After graduating, Mr. Fatula helped establish an educational products company in San Jose, California, and served as its legal counsel. In 2012, he moved from New Jersey, where he provided legal services to multiple companies, including small and medium-sized law firms and a Fortune 500 company. Within weeks of his move, he was hired at a law firm, where he began representing clients in family law matters in Placer, Sacramento and Yolo counties. He brings his wealth of knowledge, and applicable business and legal experience to McCoy Fatula, APC, where he focuses on family law, estate planning and probate law.

While earning his Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law, Mr. Fatula participated in two esteemed programs: the Children's Justice Clinic and the Mediation Pro Bono Project. He spent countless hours advocating for and protecting children in Camden, New Jersey, during the day and mediating disputes after court hours.
