Matthew R. Eason

A founding partner at the firm of Eason & Tambornini, A Law Corporation, Matthew R. Eason focuses on personal injury, workers compensation, and wage and overtime law. Mr. Eason is licensed to practice law in the state of California and is before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.

Mr. Eason attended California State University, Sacramento, where he earned his degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accountancy. He then went on to law school at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor with distinction. He became a member of the Traynor Society while studying at McGeorge School of Law, and he was honored as a member of the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers. 

In 2016, Mr. Eason received an AV Preeminent* rating from his peers through Martindale-Hubbell for his high ethical standards and professional excellence in the legal field. He also holds membership in the Sacramento County Bar Association and serves on its Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section.

Community involvement is important to Mr. Eason, and he holds positions as both Judicial Officer and Appellate Office with the International Rugby Board as well as serving as an official with USA Rugby. Mr. Eason also has presented at various legal seminars and workshops.
