With a fervent passion for pursuing law, he enrolled in the University of California, San Francisco, School of Law, where he was the senior production editor for the Hastings Law Journal and was the regional champion of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. He received his Juris Doctor cum laude in 2017, and the next year, he became licensed to practice law in California.
To gain practical knowledge of the judiciary he would soon operate in, Mr. Shabbar externed for the Honorable Judge Charles Breyer of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, as well as for the Honorable judges Teri Jackson and Ming-Mei Lee of the San Francisco Superior Court, where he accumulated immense exposure that still informs his practice today.
