Ronald S. Granberg is a past-president of the Northern California Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), a past-president of the California Association of Certified Family Law Specialists (ACFLS), and a past-president of the Monterey County Bar Association. He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and served as Education Chairperson of the California State Bar Family Law Section. Ron is a recipient of the AAML Northern California Chapter’s “Fellow of the Year Award,” a recipient of the ACFLS “Hall of Fame Award,” a co-recipient of the AAML Southern California Chapter’s “Family Law Person of the Year Award,” and a recipient of the Monterey County Bar Association's Lewis Fenton "Excellence in Advocacy Award." Ron was the Monterey College of Law's Legal Research and Writing professor for 37 years and its Trial Advocacy professor for 24 years. He received the law school’s “Professor of the Year” Award on six occasions. He is author of California Legal Research and a co-author of CEB's Crossover Issues in Estate Planning and Family Law. Ron has published 21 family law articles and has made over 200 family law professional presentations.
