Colleen A. Warren

Colleen A. Warren is dedicated to serving clients with their family law needs in the San Diego, California, area. She focuses her practice on the areas of divorce and other family law matters, using an extensive background to defend parental and children's rights. She accepts a wide variety of cases, including marriage dissolution, collaborative divorce, property characterization and division matters, child custody and support, reimbursement claims and protective orders.

Ms. Warren graduated with a business administration degree from the University of San Diego in 2000. She worked as a family law paralegal for two years before entering law school. In 2005, she earned her Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific. Prior to opening her own practice, Law Offices of Colleen A. Warren, APC, she was a founding partner at a family law and mediation firm in San Diego.

She is certified as a family law specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and is admitted to practice before all California state courts as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Recognized for her excellent legal skills and ethics, Ms. Warren has earned the highest possible peer-review rating of AV-Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell and a "Superb" rating from her peers through Avvo.

Volunteering her legal skills to her local community, Ms. Warren served as a legal advisory board member to Project SARAH at the Jewish Family Service of San Diego. She has also lectured students at California Western Law School on family law and career development topics. Ms. Warren is an active participant in several professional organizations, including the San Diego Family Law Bar Association (SDFLBA).  Ms. Warren currently serves on the Board of Directors for the SDFLBA and was President of the Board of Directors in 2020.
