Daniel M. White

Attorney Daniel M. White is a partner in the San Diego law firm of White & Amundson, APC. Since joining the firm, Mr. White has focused his legal practice on representing the interests of clients from throughout Southern California facing complex litigation. Mr. White began his legal career in 1975 after earning his law degree from University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and his admission to The State Bar of California. Over the past 40-plus years, Mr. White has built a reputation as one of the state's most respected attorneys, having served as a San Diego County Superior Court judge pro tem, an arbitrator and an adjunct professor of law.

Thanks to his many talents and long record of success, Mr. White is also the recipient of a number of honors and awards, including a "Superb" rating from Avvo and an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell. In addition, The Best Lawyers in America named him San Diego's Legal Malpractice Lawyer of the Year - Defense in 2011, 2015 and 2019 and San Diego's Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year - Defense in 2013.  Additionally, he received the prestigious Daniel T. When he is not in the courtroom, Mr. White is often found at legal functions, thanks to his involvement in a number of associations. He is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, where he served on the board of directors, the American Board of Trial Advocates and the American Bar Association, to list only a few.
