Devon J. Arabo

Serving as of counsel and Co-Chief of Operations at RJS LAW in San Diego, California, Devon J. Arabo represents clients facing tax-related issues in Del Mar, Coronado, La Jolla, La Mesa, Chula Vista, Escondido, San Marcos, Carlsbad and Oceanside. Advocating for clients before the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, Employment Development Department, and California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, he ensures them quality defense and customized service. 

Mr. Arabo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy, with a minor in finance and real estate from the University of San Diego (USD), where he was a member of USD’s Accounting Society. He continued his studies at the USD School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2021. During his time in law school, he was a member of both the Tax Law Society and the Middle Eastern Law Student Association, and he served as the USD representative for the American Bar Association (ABA), assisting fellow students with ABA registration. He further honed his knowledge by obtaining his Master of Laws degree that same year. 

Gaining licensure to practice in California in 2022, Mr. Arabo has been providing dedicated service to his clients since. He began his career providing administrative assistance to Shamoun Investments Co., where he honed his skills facilitating multimillion-dollar transactions. His practice stands on understanding and customizing a strategy that suits his client’s requirements. 

Among many issues, Mr. Arabo recently represented a client in a complex IRS audit. Though the liability exceeded 1.7 million dollars, he successfully negotiated the settlement for just 450,000 dollars. His commitment to his clients gained him recognition in San Diego’s Top Attorneys List in 2023. Additionally, he was recognized by San Diego Metro Magazine, which named him to their "40 Under 40" list for three consecutive years (2023–2025).
