Heather L. Rosing

Heather L. Rosing is a founding partner at Rosing Pott & Strohbehn in San Diego, California. With a career spanning several decades, she is the leader of the firm’s Complex Litigation and Professional Liability Department, and the Discipline Defense, Ethics, and Risk Management Department.

Ms. Rosing’s academic journey began at the University of Illinois, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in 1993. Her pursuit of legal excellence continued at the Northwestern University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 1996. These formative years laid a strong foundation for her legal career, equipping her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the legal field. Soon after obtaining her license to practice law in California, she was admitted to practice before the following federal courts:

• All the federal district courts in California
• The United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California
• The United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit
• The Supreme Court of Illinois

Throughout her career, Ms. Rosing has garnered significant recognition for her legal acumen and ethical standards. She has been peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell, the organization’s highest rating, and additionally holds a perfect score of "10.0" on Avvo, to name a few.
