James S. Iagmin

For nearly 30 years, James S. Iagmin has provided steadfast advocacy to individuals across San Diego, Encinitas and La Mesa. Before pursuing his legal career, he completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola Marymount University. Enrolling at the University of San Francisco School of Law, he bolstered his litigation skills and received his Juris Doctor. In 1997, he was admitted to practice law in California.

Having worked with many notable advocates, Mr. Iagmin has extensive courtroom experience across all aspects of litigation. In the early years of his career, he worked at a prominent law firm, honing his advocacy skills and worked on a product liability case that resulted in a $369 million jury verdict. Recently, he won a settlement 40x the insurance policy limits for a person who was tragically killed. The at-fault driver’s insurance company paid the settlement after years of litigation.

An active member of the legal community, Mr. Iagmin previously served as president of Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and is also a member of the National Trial Lawyers.
