He is admitted to practice before all California state courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Mr. Whooper also spent time studying at New College at Oxford University in England, and he has a deep interest in international travel and multiculturalism.
Active in his legal community, Mr. Whooper is a member of the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association, the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and the San Diego County Bar Association, among his other professional affiliations. He also serves as a commissioner for the City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture.
