He received his Juris Doctor cum laude in 2000, and in the same year, he obtained his license to practice law in California. Two decades later, he became licensed to practice law across all Texas state courts.

Verdicts / Settlements (Case Results)
- Represented local company and its founder in JAMS arbitration in bet-the-company case brought by investor claiming conversion of note resulted in its ownership of 100% of company. Arbitrator found that client properly removed investor as member for cause and awarded client almost $1 million in attorneys’ fees and costs. Arbitration award subsequently confirmed by court and judgment in favor of client entered thereon., 2021
- Represented client in federal whistleblower case in District Court in Texas. In which entered summary judgment against client. Argued case to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, which revered the District Court’s order and remanded the case for further proceedings. Case subsequently settled on favorable terms to client., 2020
- Lead trial counsel in three-week federal jury trial representing franchisor in dispute with franchisees and area representative over claims for breach of contract. Jury awarded client over $1.5 million in damages and Court separately awarded client $800,000 in attorneys’ fees., 2018
- Member of trial team that obtained a jury verdict in Houston, Texas worth in excess of a billion dollars (now approaching $3 billion with interest) against the Petroleum Workers Union of the Republic of Mexico (an affiliate of PEMEX). The trial was the culmination of over 30 years of contentious litigation. The jury’s verdict was subsequently upheld on appeal., 2014
