Jennifer S. Hegemier

Jennifer S. Hegemier, the director of litigation at Denning Moores, APC, in San Diego, California, is known for her amiable and benevolent approach. Ms. Hegemier has represented appellants and respondents in state and federal courts, including all Districts of the California Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. She also brings significant value to posttrial motions, preserving the record on appeal, drafting jury instructions and analyzing potential appellate issues.

In her commitment to giving back to the legal community, Ms. Hegemier taught legal research and writing/appellate law as an adjunct professor at California Western School of Law from 2002-2005. She served as program chair of the San Diego County Bar Association’s (SDCBA) Appellate Courts Committee from 2007-2010 and vice chair of that Committee in 2011. She has organized and presented continuing education seminars through the SDCBA and other CLE providers.
