Kevin A. Polis

Kevin A. Polis, a partner at Moore Schulman Moore, is board-certified in family law by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. A native of San Diego, California, he dedicates himself to his hometown community by focusing exclusively on divorce and family law. His areas of competence include divorce, child custody and domestic violence, among others including minors counsel.

Mr. Polis is a strong proponent of mediation and is a certified mediator himself. He acknowledges that many family law matters can be amicably resolved outside of court. His legislative efforts have led to the passage of various assembly bills, for which he was named Family Law Advocate of the Year by the Consumer Business Review.

Additionally, Mr. Polis has been the voice behind the "Know the Law" radio show, sharing legal insights with a wide listenership. He fulfills the role of a temporary judge in the County of San Diego’s Superior Court of California, provides educational sessions for the Superior Court of California’s personnel and offers legal representation for military personnel under the Servicemembers’ Civil Relief Act.
