Ms. Hilton began her legal career as a civil defense attorney, representing significant hospitals and health care providers throughout Southern California as well as prominent developers and general contractors from San Diego and the West Coast. She has also handled tort cases involving transportation, personal injury and premises liability.

In 2012, Ms. Hilton attained a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government from the Northern Arizona University. She obtained her license to practice law in California in 2017, and later before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California.
During law school, Ms. Hilton was recognized with various accolades such as an Academic Achievement Award in advanced negotiation; dean's list honors; Distinguished Advocate and Student Awards; participation in the mock trial team; membership in the Pro Bono Honor Society and leadership positions in Phi Alpha Delta and the Student Bar Association (both of which she served as president). Moreover, she interned with the San Diego County Public Defender Office, where she provided assistance to a first-degree murder trial as well as regularly represented indigent clients in all aspects of their cases.
Ms. Hilton manages time to give back to her community through her work with professional legal organizations such as the San Diego County Bar Association, the Louis M. Welsh American Inn of Court, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the San Diego Defense Lawyers. Moreover, she has previously served as a committee co-chair for Lawyers Club of San Diego and functions as a volunteer diabetic counselor for the American Diabetes Association camp.
