Lori Bolander

Lori Bolander is one of the founding partners and an attorney at the San Diego, California, law firm Gallagher Bolander Smedley LLP. Practicing law in California for over 18 years, she primarily concentrates her practice on the legal niche of estate planning, trusts and probate administration and at times, adoption law.

With estate planning being one of the most critical and essential processes of one’s life, Ms. Bolander ensures to discuss in detail with her clients their concerns and needs before creating a customized plan to help them accomplish their goals. Known for her empathetic nature, she understands that one can get emotional while planning and making important decisions for their family’s future, and she always strives to create a supportive and safe environment for them. 

Truly passionate about helping others, Ms. Bolander enjoys practicing adoption law. Whether an individual needs guidance while filing the adoption request or is struggling to determine the type of adoption they want to opt for, she is well-equipped and qualified to offer her opinion and support throughout the process. 

Majoring in political science, Ms. Bolander received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Diego, before pursuing law at the California Western School of Law. She earned her Juris Doctor from law school in 2004 and was authorized to practice law by The State Bar of California in 2005. Right from the beginning of her career, she focused her practice on estate planning and to date has provided her service and assistance to many happy and satisfied clients. 

Along with an "Excellent" rating on Avvo, Ms. Bolander was conferred with the Best of the Bar award by the San Diego Business Journal and was named Top Young Attorney by the San Diego Daily Transcript, currently known as The Daily Transcript.
