Matthew H. Springmeyer

Matthew H. Springmeyer founded his eponymous law firm with a vision to assist the residents of San Diego, California, with criminal and immigration matters. Licensed to practice in California since 2013, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.

Known for his stellar client service, Mr. Springmeyer’s criminal defense client base comprises people who are accused of charges such as assault, murder, theft, domestic violence, DUI and DWI, traffic offenses, drug charges and other federal offenses. He assists clients from different parts of the United States to navigate immigration hurdles and obtain visas and green cards. He also guides immigrants who are facing criminal charges, deportation and removal proceedings.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from The University of Utah in 2010, Mr. Springmeyer enrolled at the California Western School of Law in San Diego, California, to pursue law. While there, he was placed on the dean’s list and served as a comments editor of the California Western International Law Journal. He graduated magna cum laude with his Juris Doctor in 2013.

Before starting his own practice, Mr. Springmeyer served as a legal intern in the Legal Aid Society of San Diego and the San Diego Public Defender's Office. He worked with the Hon. Magistrate Judge Ruben B. Brooks and served as a judicial extern at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and later as a narcotics law clerk at the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

A knowledgeable and cherished member of his community, Ms. Springmeyer volunteers his time to provide services to those who cannot afford legal services. As a student attorney, he was awarded the Pro Bono and Public Service honors for performing the highest number of pro bono hours.
