Along with being an award-winning lawyer, he is also a certified public accountant, and he holds a Master of Law degree in taxation from New York University as well as certification as a tax law specialist from The State Bar of California.

In addition to serving as the principal attorney at the law firm he founded, Dallo Law Group, in San Diego, California, Mr. Dallo also teaches tax law as a member of the adjunct legal faculty at the University of San Diego.

  • In January 2019 we closed out an audit of an international client living in Germany and was able to save him around $20,000 for that year. The important thing about closing that out was that the IRS agreed with our position that he was not subject to self-employment tax. If we lost on that issue he would be paying self-employment tax every going forward potentially costing tens of thousands extra over the years., 2019
  • Clients are married taxpayers in their 60s who are retired and live in San Diego County. The owed $203,523 and needed help with the balance while also protecting the equity they had in their home. We negotiated an Offer In Compromise with the IRS for $3,983 to settle their debt, and they didn’t have to refinance or take equity of their home., 2021
  • Client is an unmarried taxpayer in his 50s that is self-employed with his own business in San Diego. He owed $177,691 and needed help filing returns, staying current on his filings, and dealing with the large balance. We helped prepare and file some old returns, got him set up a good bookkeeper going forward, and we negotiated an Offer In Compromise with the IRS to settle that debt for $23,596., 2021
  • On February 14, 2020 we got an OIC accepted for $500 on a $36,000 liability to the IRS. He had been unemployed for a while and wasn’t able to take care of kid. Dealing with the IRS debt helped him be able to get a job and he recently started working again., 2020
  • Settled tax court litigation resulting in a tax, penalty, and interest savings of over $165,000., 2020
  • Negotiated IRS penalty abatement in the amount of $141,349., 2020
  • Won CUIAB hearing on petition for reassessment against the EDD, saving the taxpayer over $45,000. Decision was later upheld by the Appeals Board., 2020
