Paul V. Carelli, IV

With steadfast commitment juxtaposed with tenacious legal advocacy, Paul V. Carelli IV has been a tour de force for his clients in their contentious legal matters, helping them resolve their cases. From the law office of Artiano Shinoff in San Diego, California, he has spent nearly three decades taking on cases pertaining to civil appellate law and writ, public entity law, general tort litigation, employment law and education law, among many others. 

Mr. Carelli completed his undergraduate studies in 1989, graduating with his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. He went on to attend the California Western University School of Law, where his shrewd legal acumen and talents were strengthened with the foresight of helping his clients in the future. He received his Juris Doctor in 1997, and in the same year, he obtained his license to practice law in California. Later on, he gained admission to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. 

A consummate professional through and through, Mr. Carelli has consistently maintained stringent standards in his own practice, striving to take on his clients’ legal burdens onto his own so that they can focus on themselves and their loved ones. For his many contributions, he has been rated “Very Good” on Avvo and is a certified specialist in appellate law by the Legal Specialization Board of The State Bar of California. Within his legal community, he maintains close affiliations with the San Diego County Bar Association.
