Shanna Welsh-Levin

Shanna Welsh-Levin is a senior attorney and the owner of a San Diego, California-based law firm known as So. Cal. Realty Law. As a steering force for her clients, she helps landlords and investors protect their real estate investments in all of Southern California. Her experience lies in handling matters related to:

Collaborating closely with the office of Senator Denise Ducheny, she played a crucial part in the introduction of Senate Bill 931.

In September 2011, Ms. Welsh-Levin established her private legal practice. Before venturing into her own firm, she accumulated extensive knowledge at a prestigious real estate law firm in San Diego. Prior to this, she held positions at another San Diego-based law firm, focusing on federal multidistrict litigation and class action cases. She also contributed to the telecommunications department of the firm based in Pittsburgh.

Ms. Welsh-Levin graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and jazz music. She then pursued her law degree at the California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. In 2004, she obtained her J.D. and was admitted to practice law in California. In addition to her academic credentials, she was a legal extern at the Federal Communications Commission during a semester spent in Washington, DC.

A California licensed real estate broker, Ms. Welsh-Levin is an active member of the San Diego Association of REALTORS, The State Bar of California, the San Diego County Bar Association, the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS.

As a socially committed individual, Ms. Welsh-Levin actively engages in community-oriented activities. From 2007 to 2014, during the economic downturn and housing crisis, she took part in many HOME Clinics – supported by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, held across San Diego, Imperial and Riverside counties. Furthermore, she was the recipient of the Wiley W. Manuel Award for pro bono services at the Legal Aid Society of San Diego in 2010.
