After graduating with a B.A. in economics from Trinity College, Mr. Pugh worked as a program manager at Microsoft for a little more than a year. He then decided to pursue a career in law and enrolled at Columbia University as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. During law school, he worked as a summer associate at the Latham & Watkins law firm. Earning his Juris Doctor in 2005, he passed the bar and obtained his license to practice in California the following year. 

Representing people in various real estate and business transactions, Mr. Pugh serves a wide array of clients, including hedge funds, private equity funds, individual and corporate developers, mezzanine and mortgage lenders, and real estate owners. He also has experience handling matters related to California broker licensing.

As a frequent moderator at conferences across San Francisco, Mr. Pugh speaks on various topics such as equity, capital markets and market rate housing trends.
