Amanda N. Sanchez

A senior attorney at Lewellen Family Law Group P.C. in San Francisco, California, Amanda N. Sanchez represents clients in family law matters – most notably divorce, custody and visitation disputes and mediation – and maintains a particular dedication to domestic violence actions. 

Having grown up in Laguna Niguel, Southern California, Ms. Sanchez moved to the Bay Area in 2015 to advance her legal career. In 2014, she graduated with honors from San Diego State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with minors in English and Philosophy. During her undergraduate studies, she served as vice president of Phi Alpha Delta, a national law fraternity, and was inducted into several honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Eta Sigma and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Ms. Sanchez received her Juris Doctor from the University of California Hastings College of the Law in 2018. While at law school, she concentrated her coursework on family law and estate planning to prepare clients for life’s most challenging transitions. She held leadership positions as co-president of the Hastings Associates for Youth Advocates and the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and as secretary of the Public Interest Law Foundation. 

Additionally, Ms. Sanchez served as a moot court teaching assistant, worked as a student mediator at the San Francisco Superior Court and externed for the Honorable Daniel Flores in the Unified Family Court Division. After passing The State Bar of California in 2019, she practiced as a family law associate in the East Bay, gaining comprehensive experience in Alameda, Contra Costa and San Francisco counties. 

Ms. Sanchez’s caseload has encompassed divorce, paternity, domestic violence, child custody and support, spousal support and property division. An active member of both the San Mateo County Bar Association and the Contra Costa County Bar Association, she continues to champion her clients’ interests with skill, compassion and unwavering dedication.
