Amy Harrington

Amy Harrington is a well-established attorney in the field of real estate law and estate planning based in San Francisco, California. Serving as the managing partner of Harrington Law, P.C., she has been licensed by The State Bar of California since 2005. She strives to help her clients in handling matters not restricted to conservatorship, probate law, administration of trusts and assets, financial elder abuse, wills and trust contests. She also regularly serves as a partition referee in the division of contested real property with co-ownership or other complications.

Extending her practice to the counties of San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin, Sonoma and Napa, Ms. Harrington is a 2005 Juris Doctor graduate of the University of California College of Law, San Francisco. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology from the University of California, Davis, where she was also inducted into the Pi Sigma Alpha honor society.

Ms. Harrington’s remarkable achievements in the field have been recognized with several accolades and selection to many prestigious legal associations. Having set a successful track record in her professional career along with an “Excellent” rating on Avvo, she also imparts the intellectual reaps of her legal acumen to the next generation by actively engaging in continuing legal education seminars and lecturing at universities. She is also appointed by the court as a counsel for conservatees in the counties of Sonoma and San Francisco.

In addition to representing clients in and outside courtrooms, Ms. Harrington also utilizes her time for the benefit of the community in many ways. She has been the Mayor of the City of Sonoma, National Coordinator of the Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions, the chairperson of the Mayors’ and Councilmembers’ Association of Sonoma County, the director board member of the Sonoma County Water Agency, the editorial board member of the Sonoma Index-Tribune, and more. She has also worked as an adjunct professor at the San Francisco State University’s College of Extended Learning and is author, editor and presenter for Continuing Education of the Bar.
