Ariel is a highly experienced family law attorney, who previously worked at a prominent San Francisco law firm before establishing her own practice. She has received consistent recognition from Super Lawyers magazine, being named a family law Rising Star for nine consecutive years from 2009 to 2018 and selected as a Super Lawyer for the past five years (2019-2024). Ariel has a strong background in mediation and collaborative practice, having completed a 40-hour Mediation Intensive Training Program in 2013 and is trained in collaborative divorce, in addition to her litigation practice. Her family law practice encompasses various areas, including divorce, child custody, support, and complex property allocation. She is an active member of several legal organizations, including the State Bar of California's Family Law Section, the San Francisco Bar Association's Family Law Section, and Collaborative Practice Golden Gate.
Ariel holds a J.D. with a focus on Family Law from U.C. Law San Francisco and a B.A. in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley. Ariel also served as co-chair of the Family Law Section within the San Francisco Bar Association's Barristers Club and is the co-chair of the programs committee for Collaborative Practice Golden Gate. She volunteers with the San Francisco Superior Court as a settlement officer and attorney of the day and with San Mateo Superior Court with their self-represented litigant status conferences.
As a San Francisco native, Ariel enjoys all things San Francisco, hiking, and gardening. Most of all, Ariel enjoys spending time with her child.
