Edward Singer, Jr.

Edward Singer, Jr., is a real estate attorney based in Burlingame, California. The founder of The Law Offices of Edward Singer, Mr. Singer represents clients throughout the Bay Area, from San Francisco to San Jose. He has been practicing law for three decades and has substantial experience in real estate law. 

Mr. Singer handles many different types of real estate matters. He represents landlords in complex landlord-tenant matters, aids clients with closing major real estate deals, and litigates in various courtrooms and at administrative hearings. Over his career, he has represented many major real estate and property management companies. 

Additionally, Mr. Singer represents landlords and tenants in commercial lease deals and both buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. Earlier in his legal career, he served as general counsel for a real estate holding company and practiced real estate law at a California private law firm. 

Before relocating to California, Mr. Singer practiced law in Oregon. He gained experience in areas of law, including bankruptcy business and criminal defense. His diverse legal background enables him to provide exceptional representation to clients in his real estate practice. 

Mr. Singer holds a license to practice law before the state courts of California and Oregon, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. He is a member of the San Francisco Apartment Association and regularly presents at the association’s legal panel. 

In 1988, Mr. Singer graduated from the University of Oregon, receiving bachelor’s degrees in English and political science, with a minor in economics. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1992.
