Jason E. Fellner, the founding partner at Fellner Law Group in San Francisco, California, holds board certification as a specialist in legal malpractice law from The State Bar of California. Admitted to the California and Washington bars, his legal practice is focused on professional liability and encompasses other areas of complex civil litigation, including insurance bad faith, real estate litigation, employment law, environmental/habitability issues and business corporate matters.

With over 15 years of experience, Mr. Fellner provides general counsel to law firms and corporate clients. He is also recognized as a diplomate by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. He is committed to delivering legal assistance from the preliminary stages of prelitigation counseling and mediation through to arbitration and trial, aiming to resolve his clients' challenges efficiently and with minimal legal complexity.

Mr. Fellner began his legal career as a legal research attorney for the Honorable Judge Peter J. Busch in the Law and Motion Department of the San Francisco Superior Court. As a fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates, he frequently conducts seminars and speeches on legal ethics for students and legal professionals. Additionally, he serves as an expert witness in legal malpractice and ethics cases. His litigation expertise has been recognized through his selection as one of America’s Top 100 Bet-the-Company Litigators in California.

In 1998, Mr. Fellner enrolled at the University of California San Diego, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 2002, with a minor in history. He graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2006 with a Juris Doctor degree, where he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in several subjects, was a recipient of the Zief Scholarship and served as a co-chair of the California Water Law Symposium.
