Joseph L. Urbanski

Attorney Joseph L. Urbanski is a partner at Johnston, Kinney & Zulaica LLP in San Francisco, California. Mr. Urbanski devotes his practice to family law and handles matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence, partnership dissolution, property division, spousal support and other marital and domestic issues. He also drafts and reviews prenuptial agreements for clients. He serves clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Mr. Urbanski has been licensed to practice law since 2006 and has more than 10 years of experience. He is licensed before all California state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, Mr. Urbanski earned his law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law. While attending law school, he participated in the Hastings Civil Justice Individual Representation Clinic and the General Assistance Advocacy Project. He is a certified family law specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.

In addition to his family law practice, Mr. Urbanski holds several key leadership positions in organizations within his community. He sits on the board of directors of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and previously sat on the board of the General Assistance Advocacy Project. He also volunteers with community organizations, including Openhouse, the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank and Stanford Alumni Mentoring.

Mr. Urbanski is an active member of the legal community and is involved with various professional organizations. He belongs to the State Bar of California, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom.
