Kelly J. Shindell DeLacey

Kelly J. Shindell DeLacey concentrates her practice on complex family law matters involving apportionment, property characterization, business valuation, spousal and child support, and highly contentious child custody disputes. Kelly is a Certified Family Law Specialist and has extensive experience assisting clients through all phases of litigation, both before private judges and in the public courthouse. In addition to being a litigator, Kelly enjoys creatively advising her clients in mediation and settlement negotiations.

Before joining DeLacey, Riebel & Shindell, Kelly was a Partner at Sideman & Bancroft in San Francisco. Kelly is a Fellow with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and International Family Law Academy (IAFL). She has also recently been named as a Fellow with the American Bar Foundation (ABF). In addition, Kelly has been named a Super Lawyer in Northern California (2014-2024) in Northern California Super Lawyers magazine and as an outstanding young lawyer on the Northern California Rising Stars list (2009-2013). Kelly was also named as a Top 50 Woman Lawyer in Northern California Super Lawyers magazine in 2017-2024, and top 100 Lawyers in Northern California in 2017, 2018, and 2022-2024.
