Attorney Mary E. Alexander is the founder and owner of Mary Alexander & Associates, PC, in San Francisco, California. Among her most notable successes, she served as lead counsel on a team that secured a settlement of more than $305 million against various paint manufacturers regarding lead paint exposure, and she obtained a verdict of $45 million for a victim paralyzed as a result of a preventable car accident.

Ms. Alexander has secured numerous other multimillion-dollar settlements and verdicts for her plaintiff clients, and she has gained a reputation as one of the state most sought-after trial lawyers. The Daily Journal named her a Top 100 Attorney in California in 2018 and 2019, and the San Francisco Chronicle named her among the San Francisco Bay Area’s Top 10 Trial Attorneys.

She is also a Senior Life Fellow with the American Board of Trial Advocates, and she is a member of the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Medical Professional Liability.

A graduate of The University of Iowa, Ms. Alexander received her Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley in 1976 and her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1982. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.
