Philip Borowsky

As the founder of The Law Offices of Philip Borowsky, P.C., attorney Philip Borowsky handles a wide range of cases in a variety of practice areas. A 1967 graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, Mr. Borowsky served with the U.S. Army Medical Corps, completing a tour of duty in Vietnam. He then attended the University of San Francisco School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor in 1973. That same year, The State Bar of California admitted him to practice, and he is admitted to practice before all California, U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

As an attorney, Mr. Borowsky has secured millions in verdicts, settlements and arbitration awards on behalf of his clients, earning his reputation as one of the leading commercial and civil litigation attorneys in the region. In recognition for his high ethical standards and exceptional service, he has received a number of awards and honors, including an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell.

Fully dedicated to his practice, Mr. Borowsky has remained active in many professional legal organizations, including the Consumer Attorneys of California and the National Association of Securities Dealers. For more than 20 years, he has served with the employment and commercial law panels of the American Arbitration Association, and he once served both the City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County as a member of the Special Committee on Investigative Oversight.

Well-versed in his practice areas, he co-authored an employment law treatise, Unjust Dismissal, and served as editor and commentator for Bad Faith Law Update.
