Regina Franco is the founder and principal of the exclusive family law firm of Python Legal, PC, located in San Francisco, California. She works closely with families throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area counties during a time of significant life transitions that involve divorce, child custody, domestic violence and child support both in court and through mediation.
In addition to being an outstanding attorney who fiercely protects the interests of her clients, Ms. Franco is also regarded as a dependable individual. During the course of the legal process, she establishes meaningful connections with clients to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas to develop optimal strategies that serve their objectives and preserve their emotional health.
Ms. Franco completed her B.A. in biology and French in 1997 at the Albion College in Albion, Michigan, where she was part of the Beta Beta Beta honor society. In 1999, she graduated magna cum laude with her bachelor’s in fine arts, specializing in drawing and painting, from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She then obtained her doctorate in law in 2004 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. During her law school tenure, she was the director of moot court competitions and a presidential ambassador.
Prior to moving to California, Ms. Franco practiced for several years in Michigan. She launched her solo practice law firm after gaining significant experience working as an associate in one of the prominent law firms in California. Professionally well known in her community, she serves on the board of directors for Access Institute and the Homeowners Association for The BayMark, and is a member of ProVisors; San Francisco 4, and Shack15. She can be frequently spotted lecturing at the bar’s continuing legal education programs and other conferences on family law.
