Sheila Bari

Representing those in California in all matters of family law, Sheila Bari is a highly qualified attorney at DeLacey Riebel & Shindell LLP. Her focus is on providing clients with timely, results-based solutions that simplify what may be a complicated divorce process to minimize the mental and emotional toll that issues of family law may have on both parents and children.

After earning an undergraduate degree from University of California Los Angeles in both political science and sociology, Ms. Bari then went on to Santa Clara University to earn a Juris Doctor and fulfill her dream of becoming a family law attorney. Admitted to practice in both New York and California, she also volunteers her time in the San Francisco Superior Court as a family court mediator.

Handling appearances before both private judicial officers and in public court, Ms. Bari takes cases of complex property division, high-asset dissolutions, high-conflict support, and custody disputes and issues. She is particularly skilled at resolving complex cases through settlement negotiations and mediation to decrease the cost, time and energy clients are forced to expend on their case.

Ms. Bari is also qualified to negotiate and draft prenuptial agreements before marriage and postnuptial agreements that are created after a couple is already married. Making even the most complicated cases simple for her clients is one of her main goals. She is a tireless advocate for those she represents and does not stop until they get what they are entitled to during divorce proceedings.
