Spencer J. Pahlke

Spencer J. Pahlke is an associate of Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger, a San Francisco personal injury law firm dedicated to representing plaintiffs in California and other jurisdictions. Spencer's practice at Walkup focuses on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases involving defective medical devices, vehicular collisions, medical malpractice and dangerous conditions on both public and private property.

Spencer is a 2007 graduate of the University of California at Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law. At Berkeley, Spencer was a member of the California Law Review and an associate editor for Ecology Law Quarterly. His main interest, however, was trial advocacy. Spencer successfully competed on several trial teams during his time at Berkeley, winning the Bay Area trial competition held by the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association as well as two top advocate awards. Spencer now lectures on trial advocacy topics at Boalt Hall, directs the school's external trial competition program and coaches three trial advocacy teams. He has also provided ongoing legal education, including developing and co-chairing programs produced in conjunction with Berkeley Law, with a special focus on providing training to young attorneys.
