Thomas McKeever

Working from the Silicon Valley Technology Law Advisors, PC, in San Francisco, California, Thomas McKeever is a dedicated business law attorney. With over three decades of experience in serving technology companies across all sizes, he manages matters involving mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, venture capital, real estate, management litigation, contracts and privacy law. 

Throughout his career, Mr. McKeever has been a general counsel for various companies and has played a significant role in complex transactions. He led the sale of Actuate to OpenText in 2016. His immense experience in complex transactions comes from handling multiple asset sales, self-tenders, joint ventures and other strategic transactions. As a person who prioritizes communication above all, he is extremely responsive and believes in efficacy. He focuses on getting the remuneration as fast as possible and negotiating with vendors to save expenses. 

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1990, Mr. McKeever pursued legal studies at Stanford Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1994. He gained his license to practice in California in 1994 and Texas in 2020. Since starting his career in business law, he has advocated for large corporations, including Amazon, Inc., Dolby, Inc., CloudSafe LLC, Shire Biotech, LLC and CNAPS.ai.
