Having more than 50 years of experience, Guyton N Jinkerson, Attorney at Law, offers focused legal services to clients throughout the San Jose, California, area. Focusing his practice on criminal defense, Mr. Jinkerson generally provides representation to individual people and business entities in matters involving white collar crimes such as embezzlement, insider trading and fraud. He also advocates on behalf of those facing general criminal offenses, including vehicular homicide, rape and murder, and he accepts business litigation cases.
In 1966, Mr. Jinkerson earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Golden Gate University. He went on to receive a Juris Doctor from the Golden Gate University School of Law.
Mr. Jinkerson has dedicated his career to pursuing justice on behalf of those facing criminal charges, first as a deputy public defender with the Santa Clara Public Defender’s Office and then in his private practice. Focused on protecting the rights of his clients throughout each stage of the legal process, he works closely with people to craft customized strategies aimed at securing the best possible outcomes to their cases. Mr. Jinkerson is a certified criminal law specialist by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, and he has received the highest possible rating of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell.
Staying active in the legal community, Mr. Jinkerson has served in varying capacities for and is a member of numerous professional associations.
