Jenny R. Kumar

Jenny R. Kumar serves as an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Berge & Berge in San Jose, California. In this capacity, she concentrates her practice on probate and estate administration, with a secondary emphasis on trust administration and elder law. She also advises clients in estate planning matters, including the preparation of wills and the establishment of revocable and irrevocable trusts throughout the San Jose metro area and the broader Silicon Valley Bay Area.

A native of the Bay Area, Ms. Kumar earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in finance and corporate management, from California State University, East Bay. She subsequently graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, where she was an active member of the La Raza Law Students Association and served as treasurer of the Immigration Law Society.

Prior to her admission to The State Bar of California in December 2021, Ms. Kumar accumulated precisely seven years of experience as a law clerk at a San Diego law firm focusing on estate planning, trust and probate administration, and trust and estate litigation. This extensive background provided her with a deep understanding of the procedural and substantive complexities inherent in administering and litigating estates and trusts.

Ms. Kumar is an active member of both the Silicon Valley Bar Association, and the Trusts and Estates Section of the California Lawyers Association.
