Cheryl Walsh

Cheryl Walsh is the founder of the Law Offices of Cheryl L. Walsh, APC, based in San Juan Capistrano, California. Her practice focuses on estate planning and probate, estate and trust litigation, and elder law, providing counsel to individuals and families facing tough legal and personal matters involving assets, estates and vulnerable adults.

With a career spanning more than three decades, Ms. Walsh brings extensive experience to matters that often require careful planning, detailed legal analysis and a thorough understanding of clients’ long-term needs. Her work encompasses both preventive planning and litigation, allowing her to assist clients through a range of circumstances involving estates, trusts, probate proceedings and issues affecting older adults.

Ms. Walsh earned a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Northridge, in 1988. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 1991. That same year, she was admitted to practice law in California.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Walsh has maintained an active role in professional and community organizations. She previously served as chair of the Orange County Bar Association’s Conservatorship, Guardianship & Protective Proceedings Section, where her involvement reflected her experience with legal matters concerning individuals who may require court-appointed protection or assistance. She also previously chaired the Orange County Bar Association’s Elder Law Section.

Ms. Walsh has also contributed to the community through her service on the Board of Directors of the Ventura County Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Her professional involvement and community service underscore her longstanding engagement with issues affecting older adults, families and those requiring legal protection.
