H. Yvonne Seeley is the founder of the Seeley Family Law Practice, APC, and she is a certified family law specialist by the State Bar of California's Board of Legal Specialization.  She provides legal services throughout the San Francisco Bay Area in family law matters such as marital dissolutions, non-married relationships, post judgment issues, child custody, child support, spousal support, asset division, domestic violence and marital agreements.

Throughout her career of more than 35 years, Ms. Seeley has acted as lead attorney in jury and bench trials. She has co-authored a book chapter concerning family law and property division. She has been a seminar speaker on the topic of domestic violence for the CA Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliations Courts and has presented on the topic of child custody for the Barristers of San Mateo County Bar Association.  Ms. Seeley received her Bachelor of Arts from San Jose State University in 1976, and then attended San Francisco Law School, graduating with a Juris Doctor in 1980. In 2001, Ms. Seeley completed her formal education with a Master of Science in Business from Notre Dame de Namur University.

Dividing marital property can be a complex process, especially if the couple has stock options / RSU or other equity compensation, retirement plans, real estate and businesses. Ms. Seeley uses her knowledge and experience to help clients make sound decisions that will give them the ability to move forward with their lives. She also assists clients in determining what falls under separate and marital property status, and she engages the help of financial professionals to determine whether the current and future valuations of property are accurate and that the division is as equal as possible.

Involvement in the local and the legal community is important to Ms. Seeley. She is the 2024 President of the Board of Directors of the San Mateo County Bar Association.  Additionally, she is also the President and a Board Member of the San Mateo County Women Lawyers Educational Fund which raises money for law students.  In past years  she has served as president and board member of the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association and a board member for CORA which helps victims of domestic violence in San Mateo County.
