Lauren D. Cirlin

As a Partner at Viola Law Firm P.C., Lauren D. Cirlin represents the rights of people in Northern California. She commits her practice to family law, handling cases that involve the following matters: child custody, child support, domestic violence, complex property division, grandparent visitation, spousal support and paternity. Ms. Cirlin also assists her clients in the preparation of prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements.

Ms. Cirlin received a Bachelor of Arts in diversified liberal arts and psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2002. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor in 2006 from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she played a key role in forming the school's Family Law Association. Under Ms. Cirlin's leadership as co-president, the organization grew into a successful establishment, informing participants about the latest family law trends in the legal community.

Through giving clients her time and attention, Ms. Cirlin is able to help resolve family matters, whether in the courtroom or through mediation. She believes in treating clients with the respect they deserve. Building solid relationships on every case has garnered Ms. Cirlin much success. She has provided clients protection through securing restraining orders in domestic abuse situations and was successful in litigating on behalf of a client to obtain support in excess of $100,000 a year and an attorney fee award of $450,000. Ms. Cirlin is admitted to the Supreme Court of California as well as all state courts.

Committed to furthering her legal education, Ms. Cirlin graduated from several programs with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, developing her skills for trial and deposition. 

Ms. Cirlin holds memberships with the American Bar Association and San Mateo County Bar Association.

Ms. Cirlin is a Certified Family Law Specialist, Certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization.
